Our Beekeeping Passion
Tucked into the rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Gainesville, the Kouznetsov Family Homestead is a little slice of country life.
We’re a small, family-run farm cared for by Kouznetsov family, with a little help from our kids, grandkids, and friends. We share a deep-rooted love for the land, its rhythms, and the honest beauty of homesteading. Our early mornings are filled with the cheerful clucks of hens and the gentle hum of bees at work, while evenings settle into soft lake breezes.
At the heart of our homestead, you’ll find:
- Golden wildflower honey harvested from happy, healthy bees.
- Freshly laid eggs from our free-roaming, sun-loving hens.
- Hand-poured beeswax salve, made with care and simple, nourishing ingredients.
You might be greeted by a wagging tail or a curious chicken as you step onto our land. Our dogs, cats, and flock are part of the family and always close by. Whether you're a neighbor, a curious traveler, or a kindred spirit stopping in for a glass of iced tea and conversation, you're always welcome here.
